Short Biography
Paritosh Goel is the founder of Urbandose, a platform that has supported over 100 enterprises and led several successful initiatives, including three in-house ventures and two government-backed incubator and accelerator programs. With a deep passion for urban planning and sustainable development, Paritosh has expanded his expertise across various global experiences, from organising various cognitive experiential map making workshop in Taiwan, Cairo and New York to witnessing the preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympics, and participating in the URIT 2024 conference in Copenhagen. His work reflects a dedication to driving positive change in urban environments, while his keen interest in entrepreneurship development underscores his commitment to empowering the next generation. Paritosh is also a passionate traveler, with enriching experiences in cities New York, Stockholm, Brugge and remote places in the Indian state of Kashmir, Meghalaya, etc. where he immerses himself in the beauty of nature and local cultures.
建築家。インドの計画・建築学校で都市地域プランナーとしての大学院課程を修了。国内外を広く旅する中で、都市の問題を解決することに強い関心を持ち、都市計画における革新的なアイデアの探求に取り組んでいる。その結果、卒業論文として取り組んだ「都市の残された空間の再生」というテーマで全国的な賞を受賞した。現在、彼はインドの中央政府、州政府、および地方自治体と連携し、都市計画、スマートシティ、持続可能な都市開発に関するプロジェクトに取り組んでいる。
About Paritosh
Throughout his career, Paritosh has worked on a wide range of projects that have made a meaningful impact on urban development and entrepreneurship. As the CEO of two government-backed Smart City incubators and accelerators, he spearheaded initiatives that empowered early-stage startups to craft innovative solutions for pressing urban challenges. Under his leadership, these incubators became launchpads for groundbreaking projects, addressing critical areas such as urban infrastructure, sustainability, and enhancing the quality of life in cities.
Paritosh has also worked closely with government agencies, international organisations, and local communities to bring about positive change in cities, particularly in challenging regions such as Northeast India and Kashmir. His dedication to sustainable urban development has taken him across the world, including representing India at prestigious global events like the Meeting of the Minds conference in California. He holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a postgraduate diploma in Urban Environmental Management and Law, making him well-versed in both the practical and legal aspects of urban planning.
In addition to his work in urban development, Paritosh has a deep interest in fostering entrepreneurship. He believes in the power of innovation and technology to improve cities and the lives of people living in them. Paritosh has led numerous workshops and events aimed at bridging urban development and entrepreneurship, fostering collaboration that drives impactful solutions and empowers change-makers to better shape urban landscapes.

During his residency, Paritosh plans to focus on promoting startups that are working on solving pressing global challenges. His venture Urbandose supports startups by providing resources, and mentorship, with a special focus on solutions that address sustainability, urban planning, and climate resilience.
Paritosh’s goal during this time is to grow Urbandose and help local startups scale their businesses and bring their innovative ideas to life. By connecting them with the right global partners and resources, he hopes to support the development of new technologies and solutions that will make cities more sustainable and resilient. In addition to his work with startups, Paritosh is keen to learn more about urbanism in Kyoto, Japan, during his residency. He plans to apply the insights and knowledge gained from this experience to further strengthen his mission and contribute to building better, more sustainable cities worldwide.
京都に滞在中、差し迫った世界的な課題の解決に取り組む新興企業の振興に力を入れる予定です。彼のベンチャー企業Urbandoseは、持続可能性、都市計画、気候変動への耐性に取り組むソリューションに特に重点を置き、リソースの提供や指導を通じて新興企業を支援しています。
